The third and fourth messages from our series Learn to Discern are now available online to listen to or download for free.
The third message, Test All Things, is taken from 1 Thessalonians 5:14-22. From the text we learn key attitudes and resources to use when discerning the difference between right and wrong and good and evil, especially when it comes to recognizing sound and unsound doctrine.
The fourth message, Overcoming Obstacles to Discernment is taken from a selected list of texts that show us the two main obstacles to discernment (immaturity and sin) and how to overcome them.
May we abide in Christ and may His Word abide in us as we strive to see clearly the difference between good and evil so that we may cling to what is good and abstain from every appearance of evil.
